Our annual Frenchman's Cove Birding Trip is on for Saturday March 25th and Sunday March 26th (overnight trip). The plan is to overnight at Frenchman’s Cove Hotel, Port Antonio
Accommodation Description: Double occupancy rooms at rate JMD$8,200 per room – including continental breakfast
Date: Saturday March 25th and Sunday March 26th (overnight trip)
We must confirm by March 18th and any room confirmed has to be paid for, so no last minute drop outs!
Check-in is at 2 pm. Check-out is at 12 noon.
What to Take for Hotel and Grounds/Beach: Beach Towel Drinking Water Insect Repellent
Program Itinerary: Saturday Meeting Place: The Total gas station just before the round-about at Harbour View at 6:00 am sharp on Saturday Morning (March 25th).
We will be travelling along the south coast and making our first stop at Hector's River to see the White-tailed Tropicbirds that nest on the cliffs there. Then birding along Ecclesdown Road and onto Frenchman’s Cove for Lunch.
Please remember to bring enough breakfast and snacks to keep you till we get to Frenchman's Cove after noon. We will break for breakfast when we get to our Hector's River stop. There will be a table where everyone can place their food to eat.
Dinner arrangements will be communicated in a follow-up post subsequent to the number of confirmed birders
Sunday We depart for Kingston sometime around 11:00am on Sunday after the morning’s birding.
