Run.First. Every year, since 2009 GraceKennedy has staged the annual GraceKennedy 5K Education Run/Walk, which raises funds to support educational programmes in Jamaica’s under-resourced communities.
GraceKennedy Education Run - Registration
The GraceKennedy Education Run is a 5-Kilometre (3.1 mile) road race that is open to all runners and walkers over 10 years of age. The objective of the event is to raise funds to support educational programmes in downtown inner city communities.
CORPORATE TEAMS
Companies are asked to sponsor teams of employees at $900 per person for teams with 50 or more persons. For teams with less than 50 persons, the entry fee is $1000 per person.
Invited guests such as spouse, family and friends can participate in the GraceKennedy Education Run by signing up through a registered company. However, only employees of registered companies qualify for Corporate Team and Corporate Individual Awards.

Online Registration
Once your team is registered, your Team Captain will receive access to the Online Registration Portal (http://mpatiming.com/GraceKennedy/) and instructions on how to enter each team member in either the Run or Walk events.
Online registration closes on Friday, July 3, 2015. No team entry will be accepted after the close of registration. To register your team, complete the Team Registration Form and submit to The Secretariat, GraceKennedy Education Run, C/o GraceKennedy Limited, 73 Harbour Street. Tel.: 932-3300/3335.
INDIVIDUAL ENTRIES
If you are unable to register through a participating company, you may enter as an individual entrant. Individual entrants ARE NOT eligible for Corporate Team or Corporate Individual awards.
How to register as an Individual
- Visit our Online Registration Portal for instructions on how to enter.
- No entries will be accepted after the close of race registration on Friday, July 3, 2015.
- No faxed entry will be accepted.
- Entries will not be accepted without payment of race entry fee.
- Race packages must be collected between Thursday, July 9 and Saturday, July 11, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the offices of GraceKennedy Limited, 73 Harbour Street, Kingston.
- There is NO REGISTRATION or PACKAGE PICK-UP on race day.
- Your bib number is labeled with your name and marked for the event you entered - either the WALK or RUN race.
- The bib is pinned to the FRONT of your shirt. You must wear the bib number assigned to you. Switching of race events is NOT allowed once race registration is closed.
- Each participant is responsible for knowing and complying with the official rules and regulations. Failure to comply with the rules of the GraceKennedy Education Run will subject you to disqualification.
